Birkebeinerløpet 2012, September 15th
Birkebeinerløpet is one of the most famous running races in Norway, with 8000 participants. The course is 20,3 km and passes through mountains and forest terrain.
Start at Birkebeineren Skistadion and finish in Lillehammer. All competitors must have passed 16 years of age as per December 31, 2012.
From 2013 the race will be arranged in June. Next year the date is set to June 8th.
